About Dr. Porscha Jackson
Porscha Jackson, PhD is the Business Development Manager for the Office of Business Opportunity. In her role, Dr. Porscha manages the office’s small business development programs to help entrepreneurs access resources necessary to grow and build capacity in their business. She also provides one-on-one business counseling to assist aspirational entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the process of doing business with the City of Houston and other governmental agencies in the Houston business ecosystem. Dr. Porscha represents the Office of Business Opportunity at various community and outreach events, including giving presentations on OBO services.
She earned a doctorate in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University, and her research interest is in family career legacies.
