HAA members were instrumental in forming the state and national associations, the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. With many regional and national apartment management firms having a major presence or based in Houston, the HAA and its members are active in The Texas Apartment Association (TAA), The National Apartment Association (NAA) and the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) dealing with the issues and trends that affect the apartment industry locally and across the nation.
