The Golden Triangle Minority Business Council (GTMBC) and the Statewide Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program invite you to the annual Building Your Dream HUB Expo!

Join us in Beaumont for an informative session where representatives from state agencies, universities, and other government entities will share ideas on how to do business with the state of Texas.

Also, this event is FREE and open to the public.

Registration is required.

However, walk-ins are welcome with in-person registration.

Programming will include tailored presentations and panels from the following entities:

  • Statewide HUB Program
  • Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)
  • Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ),
  • Texas Facilities Commissions (TFC)
  • Entergy Services, LLC
  • Kiewit Power Delivery
  • Local Ports

Specifically, this event is designed to educate and support small businesses through the state procurement process. Bring your business cards and / or capability statements and be ready to network!

About the GTMBC

GTMBC is a privately funded, non-profit organization IRS 501 (c) (3 ) No. 76-0549413 established for educational developmental training to enhance minority-owned, women-owned small businesses. Moreover, the GTMBC provides a unique partnership in economic development by combining the resources of business commerce buying and purchasing to the constant need of small businesses to gain educational developmental training and procurement opportunities.

About the HUB Program

The Statewide Procurement Division HUB Program administers the HUB program per Texas Government Code Section 2161 and Texas Administrative Code, Title 34, Chapter 20, Subchapter D, Division 1, Sections 20.281 to 20.298. Also, the Texas Government Code authorizes the Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide HUB Program to certify qualified small businesses and enter into Memorandums of Agreements (MOAs) with other small business certifying entities to maximize the HUB’s certification.
