Funnel Two – Readiness Training Program (RTP) for HUBs and Small Businesses with the University of Texas – Austin
Are you a small business owner ready to win government contracts in the Austin region? Funnel Two of the Readiness Training Program (RTP) is now accepting applications for its free, virtual training series designed specifically for historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) and other small businesses.
This online training, hosted by The University of Texas at Austin, features weekly sessions led by government procurement professionals, expert advisers, and business development leaders. You’ll receive personalized assistance, participate in interactive workshops, and gain insight into how to successfully pursue contracts with public-sector agencies.

- All sessions are online
- Tuesdays | 4:15 – 5:45 PM – Procurement and business training sessions
- Thursdays | 4:15 – 5:45 PM – Hands-on workshops
- Application deadline: May 28
- Rolling admissions – early applications encouraged
- No cost to participate
Who Should Attend?
Small businesses with:
- A few years of operations
- 2 to 30 employees
- $500K+ in annual revenue
Note: These are preferred, not required—exceptions are welcome for businesses offering products/services that government entities buy.
